Question: My truck has started using oil

 Rookie

My truck has started using about 1 quart of oil every 3000 miles. There are signs of oil on the top of the engine. Oil has been changed every 3-4 thousand miles. Could this be a PCV Valve or PCV Tube issue?

• At what mileage does the timing chain need to be replaced?
