1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Question: My transmission leaks but not all the time.could it be a plugged vent

When the transmission is cold it feels like it's not in 1st. when it warms up it is usually ok. sometimes the tansmission leaks like it has high pressure

    Check transmission level, someone might have over filled it. Would only make sense that once the fluid warmed up that pressure would go down just like your everyday engine oil. Could be transmission gasket as well if constant loss of T-fluid is found.
