engine seal leak. Also was told it will cost $1500 to repair. I have been putting 1/2 gt a day to keep the level up. I am not sure if its the seal or someting else. If its the main seal, is it worth to fix it? its a '98 Camry and has 160,000 miles on it. thanks.

Does that price include all timing componets and water pump along with full reseal? Need to know what the quote involved exactly. 'Complete' reseal and timing KIT?

Oil pump seal (o-ring type)is probably puking , if the oil is close to the right wheel. IF it was the rear main seal , it should be puddling under the middle. $1500.00 is way to much for timing and front engine re-seal. Should be more in the $500.00-$800.00 range , depending on quality of parts used and the labor rate at the shop you use.
