Brake lights doesn't work

    Turn your key 1 click, Before run position, do not turn ignition on. See if shifter will move. The brake switch has to work in order to release normally. If you can get it into neutral you can start the truck and tank it to someone to test it, unless you know how to test the brake light circuit.

    repair brk lights and shift lock will work. poss brk light switch is bad

    Check the fuse for the brake lights, check your brake light switch. If these circuits are not functioning you won't be able to shift out of park.
