Question: my olds will not start but will grind over then run a while but you can't drive

this car will not start but it will grind over but if you spray starter fluid in the breather it has started but you can not move it when you give gas it dies

ck the fuel pressure it starts at 40 and then bottoms out,some say i need a new fuel pressure regulator also what do you think thanks for the heads up

You more than likely have a bad fuel pump. Located in the fuel tank. Replace the fuel filter at the same time.
