High oil pressure is better than reading low which could indicate engine damage. There is a possibility that the oil pressure sender unit is damaged or the wire to the sender unit has been "grounded" causing the gauge to read high. Best to gert it checked out by replacing the sender unit on the block and or screwing in a mechanical oil pressure gauge to verify oil pressure.
