My Mobile Mechanic
I knew I could eke out a lot more miles on my Chrysler T&C Minivan (1994!) which I had come to love (got it used, but leather seats, the works! had had it a long time)...so had Michael rebuild the transmission. He is very honest and would say to me, "You MIGHT want to replace such and such" and would show it to me, "but considering the age of the car, that's your call" and he'd explain the issue in detail. That's the benefit of "custom" work at a price a garage can't beat. You can really tailor the repairs, and a mechanic isn't TELLING you something needs fixing and leaving you to shrug your shoulders and take out the checkbook. Michael works WITH you the whole time. He's aware people are on budgets, and he really cares. A true professional. By the way, he got my minivan running fantastic!
