1992 Toyota Camry

Question: my instrument panel lights do not work.

The fuse that controls the instrument panal light,license plate lights, driving lights, is not blown. And i am trying to figure out what it could be.

    Look at the lights rheostat, make sure it is not failing or turned down low. May be bad connections at the instrument cluster or failing rheostat switch. May need to trace a wiring diagram for the fault. Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....     Will that also stop the running lights,license plate light from working. Because I was told that it might be the headlight switch.
