My instrument cluster is not working. I.E. speedo, tach, gas, and temperature? on 1997 Dodge Intrepid

How do I trouble shoot or repair this problem?

a wiring schematic. voltmeter and scan tool are required to determine the failure. it sounds like the cluster is dead but you need it confirmed. Roy

I'm having the same issue. I have another identical car and pulled the cluster and BCM to test, they are working fine. Where do I go from here? FYI, the passenger airbag deployed, could this cause they issue? A new airbag was installed, but the new air bag only had one wire, so we plugged it in to the match plug and left the other unused. Suggestions?
