Question: My ignition key needs to be replaced

 Rookie

CAR WOULD NOT TURN OFF!!! The key was turning around in a circle and the engine would not turn off. Car did not have the key in the ignition and the car was still turned on. Ignition switch seemed broken!

  You need to have the ignition lock cylinder replaced and the ignition lock cylinder runs about $130 to $160 and the labor to remove and replace is about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours if the air bag interferes with this repair. • Why wont my car start after changing the battery?
  ...gine does turn over, but it will not start. Is there something that's keeping the engine from starting? Computer? Other? There have been no other problems with the vehicle.
