Is the pump working? What was the fuel pressure?

Well, assuming there is fuel in the tank.... and what you are adding is something like starter fluid; you still don't have fuel getting to the engine. If you don't hear the fuel pump engage when you turn the key, start with fuse/relay/wire problem. If you hear the fuel pump trying to work when you turn the key, look for plugged fuel line or filter. Past that, my shop is in Albany...

if the pump is working you may have an air leak at pump or in line
