Question: my fuse to my stoplight keep blowing and when it blow my car want shift to drive

Question

everytime i change my fuse in my car and drive for a little it blows again and everytime it blows i cant shift my car out of park. is the shift fuse and the stoplight fuse on the same circuit?

    yep. you need to have the problem fixed before more damage is done. replacing the fuse does not fix anything. take it to a shop for a bid.

    There is no shifter fuse, but the brake light circuit does need to have signal from the brake switch to shift out of park. With a good fuse check the brake lights make sure they work and shine with the same amout of light. You may have a shorted brake lamp bulb or incorrect bulb. This is only a start, but worth checking.
