I put the windows down last night, and I can't get them back up. Drivers window works fine. I didn't try the passenger rear window. Car has power windows.

pumpkin22, December 04, 2011, 09:29ReplyRookieYou were correct. I have had this car for 12 years (55,000 miles) and I never new that button existed. I see it every day right next to the power door locks. My son told me about it. How dumb can I be? And I'm not even blonde! Thanks for your help.

MichaelD May 03, 2012, 16:00ReplyRookieThe corrolla window motors are basically junk and fail easily. Get a used moter made before 1998 or new moters and have them replaced. Sometimes the switch is bad but most of the time it is the moter, You take off the plastic by poping the plastic hold downs and removing three screws except in front where there is an additional metal piece held on with two small screws, remove the mechanism, it unbolts, take off the moter and reverse the process. About an hour or two if you have never done it. When you remove the plastic under it is a plastic rain and dust shield, that easily tears but can be replaced with any large plastic bag cut to size and glued on with Dap or similiar mastic.
