1996 Ford Explorer Question: my ford explorer wont start..

 Rookie

my 96 ford explorer wont start, i stopped to pump gas one day a shut the car off, i then went and pumped the gas ,but when i got back into my car the explorer wouldnt start , it trys to but it wont ... its not the spark pugs or the fuel line and theres nothing wrong with the starter or alternatior

    have you checked the fuel for contaminants,water in particular?have seen this before,story is just like yours.stop to get gas and then veh. will not start.found water in fuel.not saying this is your problem,just check it!good luck.

    fuel pump went bad (as stupped as this sounds try kicking the gas tank and go directly to your mechanice) because this might work but it only does one time
