review when last tuned. it may be due. rec. premium spark plugs(e3) as replacement. examine ignition coils. rec. upgrade to performance grade. accel's are good(more conductivity) and are more cost effective than OEM replacements.
rec. upgrading conventional air filter to high air flow design(K&N). more air means slight power gain. K&N air filters have ten year warranty and are easy to maintain(1 annual cleaning). save money in long run on air filters.
    rec. throttle clean(improve engine response).
rec. fuel system clean. ethanol treatment to 1 tank of premium fuel. ethanol blend in fuel causes build up in fuel system, combustion chambers, exhaust system and causes increased wear to spark plugs.
rec. oil stabilizer additive with next oil change. this will recondition seals and cylinders(improve compression).
all of these things you can do yourself. save money on shop charges.
still rec. bringing in to a shop for diagnostic run to find any other issues you need to be aware of.
