1996 Volvo 850 Question: My daughters car will not start.

When I go to start the car, the hazard lights come on and the car will not start. The battery has plenty of charge and when the car drives its fine. Could this be the starter solenoid
that is causing the problem?

    Listen to hear a little clicking sound if the solenoid is engaging or not. If it is engaging check your battery cable wires, they might just need turned a little to make good a connection. If you keep turning the key and it finally starts up ( just guessing what your'e doing to start it ) then I would say it's the solenoid.

    Thanks, I went out earlier to check on the car and it started right up no problem.
    It must be the solenoid which is causing the problem, when the car is hot the problem starts all over.
