Question: My daughter has to add steering fluid about once a week.Could it just be a leak?

When it gets low it makes a tattling noise.

    It IS leaking . The hard part is (in some cases) finding out acurately WHERE the leak is .Pump, lines or rack.The noise is normal when air gets into the system , not good , but normal.Could eventually damage the pump.
