My convertible top just suddenly stopped working. There is no movement at all. on 2000 Volkswagen Cabrio

I used the top down on the way to tennis, then put it back up. No problem. The next day nothing would haven. Not even slight movement or sound. What could it be?

It's most likely a bad hydraulic hose. You can repair this yourself if you feel so inclined. However, it's not an easy job. You need to remove the interior rear side panels first to see if you can find any hydraulic fluid, so you'll know which line broke...left or right. I purchased my hydraulic lines from a company in England. Forgot the name, but I'm sure you can find them. Very satisfied with the product and the price.
