but still no power steering. What could be wrong and how much will it cost to fix?

Check your fuses first. There is an "EPS" 60A fuse in the underhood electrical box, and an "EPS/STRWHL CNTRL" fuse 2A on the BCM fuse box (in position #19) inside the vehicle.

Thank you. I know where both are and will check. Suprisingly it wasn't either of those fuses but it was a 2 amo fuse in the fuse box next to the motor. Steeri g restored. Thanks for the advise.
