My cars low coolant light comes on and then goes off on a daily basis, on 1997 Oldsmobile LSS

It has plenty of antifreeze. Is this a sensor?

yes, could be. the sensor is in the radiator. the coolant in the rad needs to be checked cold and added as needed. the overflow bottle needs to be topped off as well. Roy

If your coolant system has no leaks then the only thing to check is the coolant tank. If it goes low then you have a coolant leak. It's common for the low coolant sensor to go bad.
