Question: my car won't go past 15 mph

for some reason my car won't go past 15 mph and just revs up what is the problem?

    Sounds like transmission is slipping. Check the fluid level, be sure it is full. If it is brown or has a burnt smell, change the fluid and filter hopefully it will give you a little more life.

    do you service your transmission at least evey year? if not then then changing the filter may do more harm then good but its worth a shot! good luck
