when my car is idling it kinda revs up and down all the time, back and forth nonstop. and when i step on the throttle in a normal fashion it hesitates, then runs rough till i get to about 25 mph after 25 mph it pretty much runs alot smother. i thought it might be a bad timing module. any one have any inquire to my problem? feel free to throw out anything u might know about the problem too, eveything is appreciated.

MasterI would look for a vacuum leak or sticking open Egr valve ( common on Fords) Do you have a check Engine Light on? If so, pull the code and see where it points. Let me know how it comes out.
In order to 'pull the codes' from the engine computer you need a Ford capable scanner. I would go to a shop that has one, and pay $20 to have all the codes scanned.

I just had a problem similar to this and all I had to do was clean up the terminals and make sure there was good contact from the computer ground to the grounding on the battery. This also solved an issue with the starter: I thought the starter was dead, but it just wasn't able to pull enough curent to kick over. Hope this helps.
