Question: my car over heats

my car over heats we changed thye radatior and thermostate still over heats so i realized that the fan doesnt comeon when its 3/4 to red but it doescome on when the car is off whats the issue

  I will forward an article I wrote for Repairpal that we haven't published yet. Hopefully all the air is now out of the cooling system after you have replaced the radiator. Ensure the heater is left on so coolant can circulate through the heater core. Ensure all the wires are reattached after the radiator was replaced. Perhaps the fan switch is defective. I will send the article to the email you posted this question from.
