I just had my timing belt, water pump and valve gaskets changed
That was on Weds, now (Mon) its started smelling like burning rubber and smoke coming from the engine
when I lift the hood after driving, the smoke is coming from the back middle to passenger side inside the engine.
Any ideas what it could be?

You may have run over a plastic bag and its melted to the exhaust or something may be wrong with the work that was performed on Wednesday. Take the vehicle back ASAP and have them check it out before damage can occur to the engine. It could just be nothing but why risk it.

Make sure the valve cover gasket is properly seated in the rear of the valve cover. May need to use a small mirror to inspect for a leak.Has the engine oil level gone down?
