MasterMost shops..... particulary those that sell tires are very familiar with TPMS. At time of tire repair or replacement we recommend new seal kit to be installed. Valve stem design vary from car makes and some need replacement also. You need not worry for a while if your car is new. Like I said most all good shops know what to do and can deal with it when you need service. I have heard some of the big box stores do not service the TPMS when putting tires on but this may change in time.
