1995 Lexus SC400 Question: my car had last times belt 100,000 mils ago.. is it time for a new one? i ask be

because when u first accelerate it gets a feeling of being bogged down then it picks up...even in passing ger sometimes it will bog down before picking up speed..

    the manufacturer has no recommended specific maintenance interval on 1994 and later models for your engine but 100,000 miles since last change is near the end for all timing belts in my experience.you may just need the egr passages cleaned or valve lash adjusted.tuff to diagnose online however but good luck.

    just want to thank you for your time and too let you know I will check the EGR passages first and then if that does remedy the problem I will look into a valve lash adjustment... thanks again...this site is proving to be on point....

    No it sounds like the timing is off the belt should be good for at least 200,000
