Question: my car had diagnostic code 750 relating to the transmission

i was told to change the conductor plate i did but the car drove for 2 hours the went back into limp mode again what do i do next .do i have to change the shift solenoid or just reprogram the transmission before i cahnge the conductor plate the diagnose code was 750

    Really, you need to understand what is really wrong with your transmission. Code P0750 means that shift solenoid 'A' is not working correctly. This could be a wiring issue, or a solenoid problem.If you can get just the 'A' shift solenoid, I would go with that because I don't know how well you are at checking the wiring in the transmission.

    i realy appreciate you help , i have also installed a new conductor plug i perchased from the dealer .i think i will go ahead and replace the A shift solenoid as you suggested.do you think because the conductor plate i purchased from kostal and not from the dealer may cause a problem.

    probably going to need an overhaul or another transmission, sounds like some slippage.

    fron RESO: I went to the dealer and i was told i need to get the transmissiom reprogramed.They said when ever the conductor plate is replaced the vin number has to be reprogramed back in the trans computer.i order the car soft 7.4 multiplexer to do the reprogramming my self but i have,nt recieved it yet. the dealer charges $150.00per hour they say it takes 2 hours thats about $300.00 the carsoft 7.4 scanner cost only $120.00.so i am going the least expensive way.
