my check engine is on the car start ok but is runing bad

    If the check engine light is on then you have diagnostic trouble codes stored in the engine control module. These diagnostic codes need to be retrieved to assist in diagnosing what's wrong with your vehicle. Purchase a scan tool and a repair manual to do this yourself, or have a shop perform this for you (recommended).
