Question: my battery wont xharge

when i rev the engine the battery light goes out and when it idles for 5 mins or so the battery light comes back on...is the charging system bad?also when i pull the pos cable off the engine shuts off

    well, of course, the engine cuts off without a battery. suggest having the charging system checked at a local shop
    and then you'll know exactly what's going on.

    Check the single white wire on top of the alternater , My 93 would do the same thing when this wire worked loose, you may need to crimp it a little bit to make contact.
