The other day it came on again when I was slowing down in traffic and it stalled when I came to a stop. It did start up again but did this a total of 4 times during my drive. I had the battery checked and they said it was good. I also had the alternator tested and it showed that it was good as well. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem?

MasterYou could have a alternator that charges at times and other times it may not be charging. Did you take you car to a shop or parts store for the test?

milesauto, May 23, 2012, 08:18MasterLots of parts stores do (free)test...but you have to understand they are not trained technicians so the value of the test could be in question. See it all too often when folks finally come here to find out what is wrong with their car after trying all the parts a parts store suggested to fix a problem that did not do the job.

milesauto, May 23, 2012, 08:38ReplyMasterSuggest you get recommendations from friends or coworkers of a good shop in your area. I highly suspect the alternator is the problem with your car. The "repair pal" site has a estimator feature that works well in estimating common repairs. That button is at the top of this page. It will give the high and low range for your repair.
