It is probably the blower motor resistor that has went bad, I had the part go out on my 2003 Acura CL, which basically caused the A/C not to blow either with heat or cold, and it cost $150 for the part and installation which resolved my issue.
fuse-go to AutoZone or advance & they will help you for the price of the fuse.
lol. Both the Acura CL (that I returned after a week to the dealer) and the TL I own now have something going on there. The air blows all the time and the dials do nothing.. that was a type S though, so that part was cool. Anyhow I took that back to the dealership- and really went quite a ways to get a TL that did not have any major recalls. So it works fine.... mostly. The A/C works for the most part (in the TL), but its action the fan is delayed, it doesn't really start blowing until about 1/3 of mile. The vinyl and door material are separating in back seat on the passenger side door and the engine is slightly weak on a cold start- maybe its that exhaust manifold that's mentioned in the common issues list. The cd player also blinks "E1-ER" indicating that the cd doesn't quite fit- because they have labels on them (this only requires one to push in on the drive opening tray wall directly after selecting CD (which you will need to do given the player switches to Radio FM1 after the error) . I've owned 2 Acura legends since I started driving so this will be my 3rd one (tho a 13 year improvement) Its 12 years old I guess, but its got 120K miles on it, and is immaculate on the interior with one owner. Just these pesky issues..
What do you guys think, same issue with the AC Unit? Or something else?
I typically turn it to full and then drive like a third of a mile at most and then its doing what it's supposed to.
