We have also replaced a few fuses and the brakes are working. There were no warning signs, no engine light on, either.

2009 Nissan Sentra Question: My 2009 Sentra won't come out of park. The shift override button didn't work!

Try the override again but with another method, it should work! Is it parked on a hill as this could take extra efford to pull it out of park?

Along with the 'shift overide' the button on the shifter must be pressed---AFTER pressing the overide' button , not at the same time , try that.IF you push on the shift lever button before or at the same time as pushing overide , that may prevent the overide from releasing. MAYBE it's not awake.........pour some coffee on it..
