My 2009 Kia Sportage 2.0 litre engine is surging at cold start up, it revs up and down for about 30 seconds. Once in gear this stops. I took it to dealership for oil change and reported surging and was told it there was a code for emissions switch. When I took it back for the repair they were not able to duplicate the problem, so I can only assume they did not change the switch, but have not been able to get a black and white answer. It continues to surge on cold start up. I ran across a forum where others have experienced this surging but their inquiry was unanswered, curious as to your thoughts.
