with the a/c on the fans are not operational. I did notice the compressor spinning and it appears the a/c is pushing cold air (first time this week). The engine light is on...last time the engine light was due to engine overheating which it still does.

NOW SEE IF THE RADIATOR FAN CYCLES OFF AND ON WHILE CAR IS SITTING THERE IDLING. THE COOLING FANS NOT WORKING WITH A/C ON COULD BE THE CAUSE OF NO COOL AIR.ALSO SCAN CODES AND POST

    Ok will do

With engine idling the fans do not cycle on and off. The compressor comes on for 10 -15 seconds then shuts off...warm air coming out from the dash vents. Don't have a scanner for codes. Yesterday it was scanned and I was told the code for engine overheating is current. Can I short wires together to get codes?
