2000 Dodge Ram 1500

 

Question: My 2000 truck tranny feels like its slipping, could it be a torque converter?

It only slips when starting or pulling a load up hill. If I watch out for it, it won't slip at all. I think it may be my torque converter going out. What do you all think?

    could be due for tranny service. tech. will inspect and give u his advice.

    Also trans. Tech. can use a scanner to monitor torque converter slipage! Plus check for codes.
