the problem started a few weeks ago,and has just progressed to more frequently. sometimes it will crank and run all day,and other days it will act like it aint getting gas to start up. it will jerk and gargle spit sputter and finally after i prime it enough it will run enough to stall going down the road.

JourneymanThere is many thing that could be causing your problem. My first thought is a vacuum leak. While you can have it running listen to see if you can hear a sucking noise. if it wont run enough for you to listen, try looking over all hoses for damage. Is the check engine light on? Codes could help give a direction to finding the cause.
