Question: my 1998 camry started being hard to turn the wheel it does not have a leak

how can you tell if its the racket pinion or pump going out

    THE RACK WILL NORMALLY BE VERY TIGHT WHEN CAR IS COLD THEN GET EASIER AFTER CAR IS WARM,THIS IS A GOOD INDICATION ITS YOUR RACK.MAKE SURE YOU FLUSH THE SYSTEM BEFORE NEW RACK IS INSTALLED
