1996 Buick Park Avenue Question: My 1996 buick park avenue starts smoking after driving it for a couple hours

I just bought it yesterday the previous owner said it needed power steering fluid is it also possible that a smog check could have caused this.

    Sounds like you have a fluid leak. This may be dangerous for a few reasons, fire, damage to componebts losing fluid. Take it in and have it checked

    You were right i had a leak in my power steering hose cost me $250 to get it fixed but its working just fine now. Thank You for your good advice.

    You need to recheck fluid levels and find out which one is low. PS fluid loss will result in a very expensive repair bill because the pump and steering rack will need to be replaced if they run out of fluid.
