Mr. Transmission
It's been about three months since my repair at Jackson's Mr. Transmission - I've been extremely happy with the work they performed. Price-wise, they're in line with most other places - of course, you do not want to hunt for bargains on transmission work (if you plan on keeping the car).
From the beginning, the staff was really professional & helpful. I had a complete rebuild of my transmission, which took maybe a day & have since put about four thousand miles on it - not a hitch or whine has been felt or heard. It seemed a little stiff at first, which worried me a bit, but it seems to have needed a little breaking in & now everything's smooth.
The work includes a 12,000 mile warranty, which was one of the main reasons I picked Mr. Transmission.
I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone with transmission troubles.
