Water pump was being replaced. Now learned that mechanic needs new mounts. What is the approximate additional cost for this in the Washington DC Metro area?

Masterthat would require replacing the front cover. I have no access to the part but it must be acquired from the dealer.
Did he break bolts?? if he did then you should talk to the manager about helping you out with this repair. if the housing failed for another reason, then you may be responsible for this.
get an explanation for this failure before proceeding.
