Question: Motormite/Water Outleting and top hose replacement cost

being charged 625.00 for the upper coolent hose and the watering outlet for thermostat by firestone?? 400.00labor??

    From your description it seems like a higher price than reasonable, but if they are including a diagnostic charge and a cooling system flush for example - it may be right on.

    I'm not sure what a Motormite is?

    thanks for the reply. the mtormite is the plastic piece around the thermostat. i will no longer be using firesione in lacey twp nj. i brought the car there with a broken hose????

    I'm thinking the plastic piece around the thermostat is the thermostat housing. Not sure about motormite.

    I can't say that their diagnosis was wrong, nor can I speak to the accuracy of the estimate - until you get a second opinion. Good luck.
