Question: Motor will not turn over

 Rookie

Tried to jump off that did not work all lights and dash lites work is it a bad Battery

  If the electrical system works but the engine doesn't turn over then it's probably not the battery, especially if you tried jump starting it and it didn't turn over. This may be related to the ignition key security system, or the gear shift position switch or something else. • My car will not start
