Why would motor mounts on a Honda Pilot (2 of 7) need replacing at 8oK miles? Also, the power steering pump and reservoir is bad. are any of these repairs covered under any warranty?

Motor mounts usually fail for one of two reasons: oil soaking contamination to the rubber dampening portion of the mounts (rubber and oil do not go well together; oil deteriorates rubber, and then it can tear with force), or dry rotting of the rubber also deteriorates them. Since your vehicle is 6+ years old, and you did not mention any oil leaks, I lean towards the dry rotting. Although, if your power steering pump leaked oil on them...

There are no "factory" Honda warranties that cover the components you listed at this age and milage. If you have an extended warranty - the only folks that can help you verify that coverage is the warranty company itself. Contact them - they should have a toll free number to refer to on your contract.
