when the car is driven sometimes, never know how often it will or will not happen, you shut it off and it won't start. Cranks like it wants to but no fire. Been dealing with this for months and no shop can diagnose the problem. Tried new module, crank sensor, and gas cap. Nothing has worked. Anyone else with this problem?

Sometimes the ignition switch will intermittently work and not work, Have they checked this? Need to test this when its not starting as power runs through it.

Its a relay in the engine compartment. I had the same exact problem on my 1995 towncar (same exact engine and parts), I found it by accident you can hear the relay clicking when it worked. Its a little black cube that you just pull off that looks like a fuse and says ford on it, its on the drivers side inside a fuse compartment you will see them marked on the outside: EEC power relay, fuel pump relay, A/C cutout relay......ITS THE FUEL PUMP RELAY the middle one.....i can almost guarantee it. Cost is $6 for the relay at autozone.
