Moonlight Automotive & Mar
I first took my car to Moonlight Auto for an insurance inspection. I had the wrong address, so I called them to get directions. I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and professionalism I experienced.
Moonlight Auto are very effective and provide a great value. I would highly recommend them to ANYONE that cares about honesty, integrity and getting great service. Here's what I experienced:
I recently bought a used car and took it here to get some work done. My check engine light came on, and I checked the code with an OBD2 reader. The message didn't make sense, but MSN Autos listed a common engine problem with my car. The result was the the car would run rough and stutter like it was about to stall, which was surprising because it was relatively new and well kept.
When I took the car in, I told Keith what was going on and asked him to call me when he had an idea of what needed to be fixed. After looking at it, he told me that every cylinder was misfiring and he thought the ignition wires should be replaced, as they didn't seem to fit my car. It wasn't what I expected, but I figured if they didn't fit, they were probably not from the factory, so I told him to replace them. He did that and found that, although the idle had improved some, he felt that a rotor and coil would be an improvement. I agreed and told him to proceed.
When I went to pick the car up, I was impressed even further! Amy greeted me in the office and helped me get the bill settled. The invoice was already printed and my car was ready for me to just drive it off.
Wow! I could hardly believe it was the same car. No more stuttering, no more rough idle, just smooth commuting bliss! :)
