RepairPal Expert Overview:

The ventilation system blower motor may fail. This can cause reduced visibility because of windows fogging up due to a lack of defroster operation. The dealership will replace the blower motor free of charge to correct this concern.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The electronic control unit (ECU) may fail, causing failure of the headlights, tail lights and windshield wipers. This could cause visibility problems for the driver, as well as others seeing the vehicle. The affected ECU will be replaced free of charge by the dealership to correct the problem.

Upon deployment the driver's front airbag inflator could rupture, increasing the risk of personal injury. Dealers will replace the driver's front airbag inflator to correct this concern. Note: this recall supersedes, in part, recall #14V-354. 

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The clutch ignition interlock switch can fail due to broken return springs. A failed switch can cause the engine not to start or the vehicle to move unexpectedly when trying to start the engine. Dealers will replace the clutch ignition interlock switch to correct this concern.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

Moisture sensitive airbag system components may deteriorate in humid climate regions, causing an increase in inflator pressure which ruptures when passenger airbags are deployed. Injury can result from inflator parts striking an occupant. Dealers will replace affected airbag inflators to correct this concern. This recall supersedes recall 14V-421.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The front passenger lap belt may not have been properly secured during vehicle assembly. The retaining bolt could be loose and the seatbelt may not be capable of properly securing the seat occupant in the event of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt lap end attachment fastener to address this concern.

The pulleys that the drive the alternator, cooling fan and power steering pump mounted on the engine may experience unusual wear, resulting in the drive belt coming off. Dealers will replace the belt and any worn pulleys free of charge to resolve the concern.

The brake light switch can fail, preventing the brake lights from functioning when activated. Dealers will replace the brake lights switch free of charge to resolve the problem.

The brake vacuum pump may stop working due to a software issue or corrosion from road salt. This can cause extra braking effort and longer braking distances. Dealers will reprogram the brake vacuum pump controller and if necessary replace the brake vacuum pump free of charge to resolve the concern.

This limited regional recall is for vehicles currently registered or first sold in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and equipped with Takata-brand air bag inflators. Upon deployment the driver and/or passenger airbag inflator could rupture, increasing the risk of personal injury. Honda dealers will replace the affected airbag inflator modules to correct this concern.
