Mitsubishi Eclipse: 06V334000
RepairPal Expert Overview
Our Quick Take:
The frame of the vehicle is supported by cross members that add structural stability to the vehicle. One such cross member is positioned between the front wheels in the front of the vehicle. This cross member supports the front suspension components. On some vehicles, the cross member in the front may be weak due to thin metal at the time of part manufacturing. If this member fractured, a loss of vehicle control may result.
What Should You Do?
We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; the front cross member may fracture without warning. Please contact your Mitsubishi dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
