just replaced the fuel pump and filter, also replaced the plugs and ignition coil, but she still dies on me after running for a bit it does have a small back fire, with no smoke. just before she dies the rpms will drop and rebound several times what else could be causing this.

wont jump or key start but will push start, could it be anything else?

The pressure guage for the oil is sky high. what do i do?

srs lite on. Was told when I purchased the used vehicle that the pass. air bag was replaced and the lite was never reset. I have been told only the dealer can reset it.

The trans. may not shift out of 1st gear for several
drive times in a row , then it may not occur for several weeks. I have had to stop on the side of the road and turn it off for atleast 2 min. , then restart it, which will allow it to shift normal. I have had times when it wont reset for several hours after the drive time.I never get a diagnosis light,/ code.I changed the trans. with a working one, and It made no difference. then i changed the trans. control module, and it made no difference. thanks to whom ever can shed some light on this problem.

common for automatic transmissions to have problems around 100,000.00 mikes

My problem is with the transmission. It is an automatic and the problem is sometimes it will not shift out of 1st gear so I have to pull over and turn it off and on again then it will be ok for a while. There is no forewarning when it will happen and it is random. I am hoping it is a computer or electrical issue and not the transmission.

I replaced water pump and timing belt and the car runs at speed great but at idle in park or in drive engine now surges but when you drive it runs good and starts right up and it idles around 860-900 in park any help would be greatly appreciated.

Car sat up after jumping time for four and a half years engine has been replaced car will run perfect after it sits for hours however if driven and tried to start back up after five minutes or so will not start without starting fluid guel filter has been replaced as well

Hello! I recently purchased a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo that is in great condition on the outside, but needs a little love on the engine. This is my first time handling such things, and am looking for an outside opinion. I took my new little car into a local shop and the mechanic called me back and informed me that my car is leaking everywhere. The oil pan, the head gasket, and a few other places I can't even pronounce - something about cylinders and rings?. He gave me an estimate of $1200 and I told him to go ahead. He then called me back and said he'd done his math wrong, that the repairs would be $2100! How do these estimates sound? The car was leaking oil on the driveway and had some white smoke coming from the tail pipe, so I know it needed fixing. Can I trust this estimate?

How much for all belts,seals,watter pump?
I rely have a Eagle Talon 95 but it is not on the list. Is there a shope in Spokane WA that you would trust? Thanks Ron
