miss in motor after complete tune up was told could be the under dash computer

    I presume there was no mis-fire prior to the tune up. It is more likely some wiring perhaps for the fuel injection, ignition, or key engine sensor that has been disturbed. Did the repair shop express an opinion that it was a fuel or ignition related misfire. If they replaced the timing belt it is very easy to bend the valves if the timing belt slips.

    to add to pats suggestions, double check the work that was done. something as simple as a plug not gapped correctly could cause the issue.
