2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question: miss at 60 mph

 Rookie

At cruise speed around 60 mph, I feel a slight jerk, almost like a miss in the engine. Is this a transmission problem or is it in the engine? Thank you.

  It could be either, so what you can do is take your truck out of over drive and drive at 60 and see if it changes. If it does, then it most likely is a malfunctioning torque converter clutch.

  ...ly in my 2005 Silverado (4L60E reman by Jasper, under 10k), feels like a miss but don't have a check engine light, checked for trouble codes anyway and didn't have any. Does this sound like a tranny problem?
